CombatFX Smokey Sams
CombatFX supported ATACS for Talisman Sabre 09. They designed, manufactured, supplied and operated "Smokey Sam's " used as a training aid to heighten the spatial awareness of pilots low level missions.See video page for the Sams in action
CombatFX also supplied simulated AAA signatures.

CombatFX supported Cubic Defense Australia at Townsville in February and March 2009 for their Medical Mission Specific Training Exercises preparing troops for overseas pre-deployment operations.
They supplied non pyrotechnic signatures, enhanced visual and audio blank ammunition, specialist blank firing Opfor weapons, licenced Opfor armourers and pyrotechnicians, grenade dust signatures, RPG pyrotechnic and non pyrotechnic impact signatures and weapon effects.
They also supplied moulage effects, moulage personnel and technicians, and amputee battlefield role players.

CombatFX at Townsville
CombatFX worked with Atacs Pty Ltd during Exercise Aces North 2008 where they supplied simulated Surface to Air Missiles (SAMS) Mortars, Machine Guns and Artillery, HE Bombs and weapons effects to create an immersive training environment for ADF personnel.
Medics working on amputee casulty role player for Mission Specific Training
In 2008 CombatFX suported Zero Risk International preparing journalists to enter hostile environments.
They supplied Armourers and Pyrotechnicians to act as hostile opponents, blank firing weapons (AK47s x M16’s) pyrotechnics, stun grenades simulation, smoke effects, mortar stomp effects and large bombs to simulate IED’s.
In 2007 CombatFX provided technical support to AET on Aruna 3 Police riot training at Bathurst where they provided a wide spectrum of simulated riot conditions.
They supplied car fireballs, collapsing power transformers, obscuring smoke screens, simulated Molotov cocktails, and an assorted selection of pyrotechnics used to attack Police Riot Squad personnel.

In 2005 CombatFx (trading as Pride Studios) helped Glebe Coroners Forensics Team recreate the tragic accident of a little boy killed by a falling fence at Fox Studios.
They researched the wind speed reached in the vicinity that day, and using large wind machines, a mannaquin and a replica of the fence, they were able to determine the exact conditions that caused the accident.
